BackUp Solutions uses your Internet connection to transfer files to our data centers. Because of this you will be prompted with a message during the registration process if you are using any type of personal firewall on your computer.
Some of the ways we ensure your security:
- Account security is ensured by account numbers, passwords and encryption keys.
- Transmission security is ensured by encrypting all files on your computer before transmission to the data center using port 16384.
- Physical security at the mirrored data centers includes 24/7 security personnel, fingerprint access control and logging of all access.

What to Do
You will need to change the default action for our program (agentsrv.exe or cobackup.exe depending on your version of Windows) to always allow/permit access to the Internet.
